DESCRIPTION: \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n Find your True North alongside your fellow Girl Scouts! \n  \n  \n  \n Spend the week diving into personal leadership development as you discover your guiding principles, set a meaningful goal, explore your leadership style, and work together to achieve everything you set out to do. Take a scenic hike up Hancock Hill in Alpine to sign the famous desk, then reflect on your accomplishments through your favorite creative outlet. \n  \n  \n You’ll still have plenty of time to enjoy classic Mitre Peak adventures - yoyos, swimming, archery, hiking, and more! Participants will earn the True North award for their program level. \n  \n  \n  \n Cookie Recognition for free week of camp \n  \n If your camper sells 3,000+ packages of Girl Scout Cookies and chooses a free week of camp (or 5,000+ for a second free week of camp), they must still register following the standard camp registration process to reserve their spot. All camp registrations require a $75 deposit payment at the time of registration to hold the camp session. Once the Girl Scout Cookie Program is complete and all prizes are confirmed, campers who elect a free week of camp will be refunded the deposit paid to hold their camp spot. \n  \n  \n  \n Using Desert Dollars to pay for camp \n  \n If your camper plans to pay with their Desert Dollars earned from the Fall Product and/or Cookie Programs, they must still be registered following the standard camp registration process to reserve their spot. All camp registrations require a $75 deposit payment at the time of registration to hold the camp session. A completed Desert Dollar redemption form and Desert Dollars must be mailed to GSDSW Attn: Desert Dollar Redemption, 225 E. Idaho, Suite #9, Las Cruces, NM 88005. \n  \n  \n Securing financial assistance to attend camp \n  \n We believe every girl deserves to experience the magic of camp, and we're happy to help if it is needed. To apply for Resident Camp Financial Assistance, please go to www.gsdsw.org. Typically, financial assistance covers up to 50% of camp fees. When applying for financial assistance, follow the standard camp registration process to reserve your spot. All camp registrations require a $75 deposit payment at the time of registration to hold the camp session. Awarded financial assistance will be used to help pay the balance. \n  \n  \n Cancelation and Program Transfer Charge Policy \n  \n ​We understand that sometimes plans change. If a camper cannot attend, please email info@gsdsw.org attn: Resident Camp as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than four weeks from the start of the registered session will receive a full refund minus the $75 deposit. After that date, no refunds will be given. \n  \n  \n If a camper needs to change which week or program she is attending, please contact info@gsdsw.org as soon as possible. There is a $25 fee for transferring from one session or program to another. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n
